      Are there any surcharges?

      Stair Fee

      The first 5 steps are free. Steps 6 to 15 are counted as the first level. Every subsequent group of 10 steps is counted as one additional level. Any group of fewer than 10 steps at the end is also counted as one level.

      • Stair Fees for Empty Boxes
        • First 3 Levels:
          • Up to 10 empty boxes are free.
          • For more than 10 empty boxes, a charge of HK$20 is applied for every group of 5 boxes per level.
          • If fewer than 5 empty boxes exceed the group of 10, the charge is still calculated as if transporting 5 boxes.
        • Beyond the First 3 Levels:
          • A charge of HK$20 is applied for every group of 5 boxes per level, starting from the first box carried beyond these levels.
          • This includes the first 10 boxes if they are transported beyond the first three levels.
          • If the number of boxes in any group is fewer than 5, the charge is calculated as if transporting 5 boxes.
      • Stair Fees for Empty Boxes
        • Regular Item: HK$20 per item per level.
        • Overweight Item: HK$40 per item per level.

      Emergency Delivery Fee (same day)
      An additional HK$20 per item, with a minimum charge of HK$400.

      Sunday or Public Holiday Delivery Service
      An additional HK$200.

      Remote Area Surcharge (per trip)
      - Discovery Bay: HK$250
      - Airport: HK$200
      - Remote parts of the following locations - Sai Kung, Sheung Shui, Fanling, Yuen Long, Tuen Mun, Tai Po, Kam Tin, Sha Tau Kok: HK$120

      Overtime Waiting Charges
      - First 15 minutes: Free
      - After 15 minutes, if the customer is still not present, Spacebox reserves the right to cancel the delivery and charge accordingly.
      - Additional overtime fee: HK$90 per 15 minutes.
      - Customers can choose a delivery time slot in 3-hour intervals, and the driver will arrive within that time. If the customer is not present at the registered address, overtime waiting fees will be charged as outlined above.
      - The maximum waiting time will depend on the situation, and Spacebox reserves the final decision.

      Change of Transport Schedule
      - Notify before 3 PM the day before the appointment: Free (only one free change allowed; otherwise, a HK$200 administrative fee will be charged).
      - Notify after 3 PM the day before or on the day of the appointment: HK$200.

      Service Cancellation Fees (if empty boxes have been delivered)
      - All empty box delivery and pickup transportation fees (HK$200 per trip).

      Cost for Purchasing Storage Boxes
      - Document Box: HK$20 each.
      - Wardrobe Box: HK$79 each.

      Lost/Damaged Boxes
      - HK$250 per box.

      Failure to Return Empty Boxes
      - If the customer fails to return the boxes within 14 days after "Empty Box Drop-off" or "Final Check-Out," a rental fee of HK$15 per box per month will be charged.
